2010 US Primary Contests

Looking ahead to the 2010 midterm elections, where a number of Senate seats and Governorships will be up for grabs, Intrade has listed a new category: 2010 US Primaries.

This can be found under the Politics category and will contain markets for various primary contests taking place in 2010 to select party candidates for Senate and Gubernatorial elections.

A number of markets are already listed:

Florida - Republican Senate Primary
Kentucky - Republican Senate Primary
Texas - Democratic Gubernatorial Primary
Texas - Republican Gubernatorial Primary
California - Democratic Gubernatorial Primary
California - Republican Gubernatorial Primary

Some of these markets were previsouly listed in different categories: 2009 US Gov. Races and 2010 US Senate Races. They have now been moved over to the new 2010 US Primaries category.
