All current estimates have 2012 at 65M for the weekend. Anybody want to go long? I'll short it.

Hey all,
Thanksgiving weekend ahead (though not for me, I'm Canadian). Should be an interesting weekend at the Box Office, but obviously won't be able to compete with last weekend. Let's try to keep the volume going though.

I'm looking to short pretty much anything this week, with the exception of possibly going long on Ninja at various levels. If you're interested in going long on a movie let me know which and at what levels and hopefully we can make a deal.

I have some attractively priced asks on Old Dogs. BOM avg for Fri-Sun is >30M. If you want these contracts get them before Wed @ midnight (EST).

Regardless, I'm still willing and wanting to short Old Dogs - I'm bored with the low volume.

I raised my bid for Legion > $10M... I am willing to negotiate on this and other Legion contracts.

10M?? It'll cross 10M by the end of Saturday... I wouldn't short that contract at 97%.

I gotta give a shout-out to Daily Chuck aka Arcsol for having some pretty spot on projections for the box office this weekend. I guess the model is finally hitting its stride.

We still don't know how the weekend is going to turn out exactly. Tooth Fairy still has a slight chance of going over $14 Million and screwing me over.

Having said that, I think I finally found a really good set of variables that work. Some of which I have had to make up. I fully expect some movies to be unpredictable though. It's just impossible to account for every factor.

Are the box office contracts for domestic or worldwide grosses?

Domestic and usually for the 3-Day Opening Weekend.
